Ligonier, PA - Bethlen Communities Home Health Services in Ligonier received a grant from the Richard P. Gibson & Rosemary Kirr Charitable Trust for their newly licensed Hospice Program.

“We are extremely grateful for this generous donation,” Mary Ellen Ridilla, Bethlen’s Hospice administrator, said. “We believe
as Mr. Gibson does that Hospice is very important in the final chapter of life.”

Gibson is Trustee of the Richard P. Gibson & Rosemary Kirr Charitable Trust, the latter which is the name of a close friend who received Hospice care.

“I first learned as Secretary/Treasurer of the Kennamental Foundation how much of a difference Hospice care can make to patients and families at the end of life,” Gibson commented.
