Giving

At the heart of Bethlen Communities is the philosophy of caring for one another. We are fortunate to have a community of residents, staff, Board of Directors, volunteers and supporters who value quality and compassionate care in all aspects of the services offered throughout Bethlen Communities.

Across the years, Bethlen has received gifts from individuals and support from foundations for numerous, diverse reasons. Each for their own reason has cause to value Bethlen’s mission, quality care, and services offered. We are grateful for the generosity of those who support Bethlen Community.

If you find you or your loved one has benefitted from the services offered throughout Bethlen Communities, you want to help us maintain the “Spirit for Living” with all served, or you feel called as were the founders of Bethlen to care for others, we invite you to consider a gift to Bethlen. Your gift will be a means to continue quality care and service to those who will benefit the most. In whatever manner you choose, your donation to Bethlen Communities is appreciated by the many that benefit from the services offered.

Yearly Events You May Want to Support or Attend:

Bethlen Communities 95th Anniversary Campaign: An ongoing fundraiser to commemorate Bethlen Communities 95 years of care and service to the greater community.

Day of Giving: Generally held in early May, donations are made through the internet.  The Westmoreland Community Foundation matches donations made that day.

Bethlen Communities Memorial Golf Outing: Held the last Saturday in July, sponsorships as well as golfers are invited.  Proceeds benefit the Bethlen Student Scholarship Program.

Daffodil Sponsorship: Recognize a loved one through sponsorship of daffodil bulbs. In conjunction with Bethlen's 95th Anniversary, we will honor and remember those who touched your life. The bulbs will be planted on the Bethlen Communities Memorial Hillside overlooking the west side of the Ligonier Valley.

Spirit for Living Gala: Currently scheduled for Fall 2016, the first annual “Spirit for Living” Gala will support benevolent care.
